Very pretty place. From one view, it looks like the fountain on the opposite side of the street is in the middle of it. Worth seeing.

The home to the Euro 2024 fanzone so had to walk around the park to get there due to restrictions where the fanzone was segregated off. Was well worth a visit and we could sit in Pariser Platz to enjoy the atmosphere once we got there.

A miniature version of the real larger sized Brandenberg Gate which sits in the centre of Berlin and is not far from the centre of Potsdam.

I guess this is the iconic landmark of Berlin and justifiably so. It's immense. Reading about the history though is important if you don't go to the museum. Walking down the Tiergarten or coming from the Unter den Linden proivides a wonderful view of the Tor.

This is much smaller version of the famous one in Berlin. It was built in 1770-1771 by order of Frederick II of Prussia as a sign of his victory in the Seven Year War. Each side looks a bit different as two different architects designed each.

What can you say….probably one of the most photographed monuments in Berlin. It’s always busy there so try to go early morning or late afternoon. There’s a Tourist Information point there which is useful.

Nice gate and a nice crowded street with outdoor cafes. We sat at dean & david and enjoyed the energy outside while having some drinks.

This is like the smaller version of the Brandenburg gate in Berlin. Very well maintained so looked new. A great spot for pics.

When in Potsdam this is well worth a visit and is opposite the main Church so could take in both at same time.

Don' get confused with the Bransdenburg gate in Berlin. This is the Other Brandenburg Gate in Potsdam and it is more beautiful than its big brother
