This is a very photogenic church, set next to a lake for maximum effect. I couldn't see any English information so I'm not sure of the history but it was lovely and peaceful to walk around although it was obviously a relatively modern (19th century?) building. Free to enter and set in lovely parkland.

A lovely nineteenth-century Italianate church almost hidden inside the gate of Sanssouci Park. The highlight is the preserved 13th century mosaic from Venice.
The free organ concert was just the icing on the cake!

The church is beautiful. The surrounding area and gardens is very peaceful. When you walk in the yard, do not miss out the statues and also the mosaic walls.

We have been touring with Insight Vacations and decided to join their optional tour to visit this place and some others which cost us Euro$48. If you don't have the time, this is the way to go, join a tour but if you have the time, the best way is to drive yourself around and stay for a week, there is so much to see and just beautiful drive along the way. This church is just lovely from the outside and going inside was not part of the tour.

Closed on Sundays, so could not see either the interior or the mausoleums.

The purpose of the Peace Pond (Friedensteich) other than as an extension of the gardens of Sans Souci remains a mystery.

I have read that the design of this church was based on the early Roman church of San Clemente. After walking a lot on the day of our visi we found the church really peacful and relaxing. The courtyard with its statues was very interesting. Of course the mosaic is something to see

Taking the Boat from Wannsee S-bahn Station to Potsdam, we passed this architectural gem, located beautiful at the water and used after restoration for public and private events.

This is a Protestand church in the Park Sanssouci, City bus reach the east edge of the park, walk several minutes to get there. When we went there, the church is under renovation, only can view the exterior.

Also known as the Church of Peace, this Protestant church is small but stunning. A 13th century mosaic, purchased by Frederick William and brought to Potsdam from a dilapidated church on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy, is above the apse and adorns the interior of the church. The campanile is a noticeable landmark in Sanssouci Park so be sure to head that way in order not to miss this peaceful place.
