Very nice, you feel like in Italy. Close to the ticket house at the main entrance. Otherwise, the park is really a big area,so should you wish to see the Sanssouci Manor, then Neues Palais and then Orangerie...some 8-9 km to walk!

The Orangery Palace of Sanssouci is the last and largest palace building built in Sanssouci Park. It can be reached via several beautifully laid out terraces. The Italian-style palace is based on the Villa Medici in Florence, which served as an architectural model for the Italian-loving builder Wilhelm IV, so in summer you can feel a touch of southern flair. Especially in the evening hours the place has its own special charm. Beside the very beautiful outside area, which is lined with palm trees and other southern plants, you can visit the splendid inside rooms of the castle for little money. These rooms are still used for the storage of many potted plants in the park during the winter months. I can only warmly recommend everyone who is visiting Potsdam to make a detour to the orangery to dive into another world which is actually many kilometres away.
