A massive building building project that was never used. There is an interesting self guided tour. Well worth a visit from Bremen if you have around 4 hours to spare. It is free!

I first saw this bunker a few years ago from the outside when it was being renovated and finally got to see it open. Entry is free, as are the audio tours. It is closed on Saturdays and Mondays. The bunker is enormous, and some...More

Worth a visit for anyone interested in WW2. the site is well preserved and the entrance and audio guide are both free. Personal stories from those that were interned and worked on the site provide a human context to the concrete structure. As other posters...More

If you are in Bremen, go to the vicinity and see that place! It's a gem!! The entrance is a bit tricky to find = it's on the opposite side of the parking lot. The building itself it's huge, gigantic and enormous and you'll feel...More

The Valentin Subway Factory is excellent to visit when you're in Bremen. It's a little far outside the city, but it's worth the time and effort to get there. They have not done too much to change the bunker, and it's mainly in the condition...More

It is the size of the bunker that get you. Of course the history of how it was built is awful, but nothing new. There is a self guided tour around and inside the building, including a small museum. It is a giant of engineering,...More

A bit complicated to go there, you must take a train and then a bus (count at least 45min from the main station). Check on the website the timetable because it's not always open. The visit is very interesting. You learn a lot about the...More

A little off the beaten path/autobahn, watch carefully for the small sign off of Rekumer Strasse pointing down the narrow street to the site. You may end up having to double back. The intended U-boat XXI factory bunker self guided tour provides an outstanding balance...More

One hour would be the absolute minimum. I spend over four as a history nut...So anything in between would be fine. Enjoy!
