This city was surprisingly beautiful. No need to have a map in hand, just stroll down the alleys and take in the experience.

The most interesting place in Bremen is located around the square of the municipality. The buildings are very well preserved and reflect the spirit of the medieval city - a member of the Hansa.

Enjoy the splendour of so many (restored) medieval houses bordering the marketplace. A tourists delight.

Just walk around a corner and you will find another example of the amazing architecture. There are lots of cafes and bars and restaurants in the surrounding area.

Lots of nice streets to walk, cafes to sit at and stores to shop in. The Dom is also very nice as is the statue of the 4 musicians.

Of course Bremen was destroyed during WWII, but it was restored very nicely. Not much to do, but you can enjoy half of the day in Bremen.

Maybe best to look at the Tripadvisor list of hotels in Bremen rather than posting here?
