The historic Marketplace in Bremen provides a glimpse of what a Hanseatic League city would have looked like at the height of its wealth in the Middle Ages. The old town hall was built in the 15th century and although subsequently renovated, it survived destruction...More

Alot of historic and fascinating buildings in this area but on my visit the toen fair was in progress so many of the building were not easy to see. Still a good place though and plenty of bratwurst and gluhwein at the fair

You can have a nice stroll around the old center, there are terraces to have some food and drinks, and just have a rest and do some people watching

Cosy and nice in any weather. Cute, traditional German architecture, looks almost like doll- or gingerbread-houses. Museums and cafes- all you need when being a tourist in Bremen. Simply beautiful.

De altstadt of Bremen has a lot of beautiful old buildings. But you should go behind the usual streets to find some hidden gems, like Markthall 8.

Maybe best to look at the Tripadvisor list of hotels in Bremen rather than posting here?
