De altstadt of Bremen has a lot of beautiful old buildings. But you should go behind the usual streets to find some hidden gems, like Markthall 8.

A very cosy and intimate atmosphere in this area of Bremen. Just a walk around and admire the fantastic old buildings and the street life.

This square offers the magnificent views of historic buildings, cobble stones, trams, statues and a huge church. The "emergency exit" for the Ratskeller is around the corner as is the "spitting stone" opposite the old hall of justice.

One of the world’s famous fairytales takes place in Bremen (“The Bremen Town Musicians”), and actually the whole setting of the old city makes you feel a little like af participant in a fairytale. Hoping to win the prince(ss) and live happily hereafter.

Worth every step that you will do, make sure not to miss any of the landmarks that will show up to you. Plenty of corners to be really explord, as well as the river promenade.

Maybe best to look at the Tripadvisor list of hotels in Bremen rather than posting here?
