Clearly signposted from the park entrance opposite Gesundbrunnen S-bahn station, you can climb up the wooden steps to the flak towers at the top which give you pretty good views across the city - though sadly in summer the trees block the view towards the...More

Not easy to find and take care as it closes by 4pm. From HBF you need to catch a Tram (M10) to Nordbahnhot. Once there, change to a S Bahn Train S, S2 or S25. Look Round you at the station.there are signs which then...More

The people referred to this as a mountain but it is really a rubble pile next to part of the old flak towers. It is in a park and has a nice walkway up. The views are fine at the top. Lots of graffiti and...More

What an amazing experience to go inside and down to some of the remaining levels, 12€ entry fee (discounted with Berlin welcome card). Knowledgable and well informed guides (multi lingual). A step back in time which causes you to really stop and think about the...More

We visited the nearby Berlin Unterwelten and in between the tours we went up the Flak Tower. Amazing concrete building high up on a man made hill offering great views over Berlin. Due to the height of the Flak tower it can be difficult reaching...More

The only way to understand part of what was to be in Germany during WWII is to enter this semi collapse building, it's like the time froze still. Lets remind what went trough and learn from it.

We did a Berliner Unterwelten tour and the guide recommended we visit the flak tower across the road. It is a short but moderate climb to the top, where you get a view of Gesundbrunnen and the surrounding suburbs. Worth checking out if you have...More

Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most
central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof
(central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is
a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of
Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending
their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party
venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful
parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
