I was very excited to visit this wwii defence bunker. It is very large, on the top of a hill, that you can reach very easily. In order to make the visit safe, a lot of protections were applied. But everything related to the original...More

We went in August and there were two tours that day in English. One at 1100, the other at 1300. There are 155 steps up the stairs to begin the tour and as many during it but it is well worth the time and effort.

A half collapsed (demolished) and half buried bunker accessible only by tour with the Unterwerten Berlin group just outside. Well worth the price to see the remains of such a huge thing.

Clearly signposted from the park entrance opposite Gesundbrunnen S-bahn station, you can climb up the wooden steps to the flak towers at the top which give you pretty good views across the city - though sadly in summer the trees block the view towards the...More

The people referred to this as a mountain but it is really a rubble pile next to part of the old flak towers. It is in a park and has a nice walkway up. The views are fine at the top. Lots of graffiti and...More

What an amazing experience to go inside and down to some of the remaining levels, 12€ entry fee (discounted with Berlin welcome card). Knowledgable and well informed guides (multi lingual). A step back in time which causes you to really stop and think about the...More

Walking inside the Flak tower was a unique experience, such massive concrete building that bombs could not demolish, was covered partially with debries and now looks like a hill in the middle of a beautiful park. Inside the remainings of that fortress you will be...More

Okay the only redeeming factor for this is the view. The area is filled with the left overs of the previous evenings drunks. Broken bottles, urine puddles and worse lie everywhere. The flak tower is covered with the usual Berlin graffiti that spoils everything and...More

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most
central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof
(central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is
a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of
Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending
their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party
venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful
parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
