The Ramones Museum is a must for any Ramones fan. The atmosphere is just incredible. The staff are friendly & not only is it a museum for the greatest band in the world, it's a cafe too!
The Museum itself is great & has everything...More
If you like The Ramones you'll love this place and if you're not a great fan it's still a great place to enjoy a coffee or beer.
It was great just seeing all the memorabilia while watching footage and listening to one of the greatest...More
The Ramones Museum and Cafe Mania is holy ground for any Ramones fan. The artifacts are diverse and interesting, with the guys' old jeans and sneakers, handwritten song lyrics, and promotional materials displayed like saints' relics--a hagiography of punk rock, New York in the 1970s,...More
The museum/cafe has now moved to the other side of the river.
Great value at €5 for access and a beer or soft drink with a funky cafe area which also sells vegan sandwiches.
A great insight to the fathers of punk RIP.
New location, more fitting in East Berlin, Joey would love it. Worth coming to Berlin just for this place. Bored the staff with my story of seeing them 6 times in 1981. I have a few t shirts they don't and thinking of donating them.
Great museum, great staff! For a fair price, you get the entrance, a bottom, and a beer to enjoy the tour. Lot's of relevant items, real letters, shirts, even Dee Dee's bass.
Definitely one of the best rock museums I've been, strongly recommend!
It's not just for fans of Ramones. I'm a big fan but I truly recommend the place.
Every time that I'll be in Berlin, I'll go.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
