Not half as good as it reads. The 'music pool' is a small underground space, nicely lit, where a load of apparently dead people float silently in heavily salted water. Could be called relaxing. .or a bit creepy. This was a birthday treat for my teenage son but as soon as he realised you can only use the sauna/steam room... More

This spa is not open until midnight - they start kicking you out at twenty to. We paid for two hours (twenty euros) and did not get our full money's worth. They approached us at 23:40 to tell us they were closing. We replied that we knew they closed at midnight. Then they opened the outside door next to us... More

We were here with a friend on a Saturday night. Some of the staff were friendly while others clearly should look for some place else to work. The pools (especially the big one) seemed like paces for couples to pet in. In the saunas and outside you had some really weird naked or not wondering. Many people seemed a bit... More

First of all the place does look amazing, very modern. The lighting and underwater music are very classy. Like others have said there are naked people in the saunas but it didn't feel seedy and you can put a towel around you anyway. We were there for two hours because we had a lot to do, but it would be... More

I had a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The floatations pool was a great place to start the process of unwinding. Excellent saunas and steam rooms and I even dosed off for 40 winks on the deck chairs. I visited during the day a little after 1 pm on a Friday and there were no crowds at this time. This... More

I've been there four or five times and it's a great place to relax. The warm saltwater pool with underwater speakers is just heaven after a few intense clubbing nights or after walking through the city all day. The best time to go there is in the evening when it's a bit chilly outside.

Be aware - the germans are quite liberal Don´t go here if you are a tender soul, but if you can relaxe and go with the flow you must try this spa! The saunas is no clothing area, and a lot of the guest also go around in their birthsuites. But in the pool you must use swimwear. The big... More

A very slick place. The indoor pool is unlike anything I have seen before. When you say indoor swimming pool you think a 50m lap pool. This place could not be more different. Stunning architecture makes this pool a perfect setup. Dark inside and silence enforced, it is not recommended for a family trip and is perfect for couples to... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
