I strongly recommend this class, whatever level of yoga you are. A great mix of challenge and surrender, in a friendly and supportive enviroment. Besides physical practice, a very nice introduction into a sitting meditation, withouth too much formalities..

Excellent opportunity to actively relax and experience the wholeness of your body and mind. Tatjana's classes guide you through stress reduction techniques. She is a great teacher who gives you an opportunity to build up your own experience to yoga practice. Highly recommend it as a short 'me time' so needed in active living in a big city.

I was pleasantly surprised by the classes that I took from Zen Yoga in Berlin. The classes were taught in English. The teacher was professional, patient and friendly. I wasn't sure which place to go to for yoga in Berlin, but I now know that I will go back to Zen Yoga. The location is really convenient and the studio... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
