If you enjoy contemporary art a visit here is a must. Exhibitions change over time so it's worth checking what's on, but the collection is vast and includes works from many major artists so you will not be disappointed. Beautifully curated and presented. Maybe the...More

Huge imposing space filled with cutting edge modern art. Some challenging, some bizarre, some wonderful. Staff could do with remembering they are not the exhibits though

The old train station has been restored and repositioned as a museum/art gallery and it's a great use of the space. Located near Mitte, central.

The exhibition space is medium size. I visit the show of Beuys and a really great exhibition on sculpture, there were exhibited pieces from ancient to contemporary artist place next to another in a very great place and a design, installation and choose of pieces...More

As others have said, the museum building itself is a fantastic space being converted from an old station. Note the entrance is set back on the same road as the tram/central station - some of the signs on the way suggest that the entrance is...More

The first impression and meeting with the museum is at the frontdesk. We were met by the outmost uninterested person i Berlin. She actually made us to turn around and leave the museum, via an extremly boring shop. We give a well deserved ”one”

Really nice architectural reconstruction of old station building, even with backside halls of former warehouse. Erich Marx collection is very representative but for 14 E entrance fee there should be something more except long walks there and back within exhibition space. Nice bookshop inside.

This museum *can* be great, or it can feel like a bit of a miss. It depends on the current exhibit. The museum building itself is fantastic. It's an old train station with lots of corridors and passages to explore. There is tons of space...More

This museum has been an overall disappointment. This historical train station building has not been used to it's full potential. The collection is substandard for a city like Berlin. I prefer Musée d'Orsay, Tate Modern and the Guggenheim musea of the world any day above...More

Admittedly the main exhibition was shut- though no mention of that fact on their site- and cost 10 instead of 14 euros- but surely this is more con than art. Enormous amounts of space devoted to bits of tat with pretentious titles. There are more...More

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most

a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of
Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending
their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party
venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful
parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
