St Hedwig's cathedral is near the Gendarmenmarkt. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop. There is not too much to see inside. The stain glass windows contain geometrical patterns and there is limited decoration. The chapels contain some photogenic sculptures and the organ...More

We attended the 10:00 Sunday Mass. (Catholic Church) The choir was present. The music was amazing!! Because of the dome the acoustics were impressive. The church is simple but beautiful.

What a hidden treasure, beautiful stained glass windows illuminating a church that is a great blend of modern and ancient. A great place to take some time to reflect.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
