Walked from Brandenburg Gate to the Victory Column underneath the shady trees of the Tiergarten on a very hot June day. The perfect place for my husband, kids (8, 10) and I to escape the sun on our long day of sight-seeing. The section we...More

Staying at the Waldorf Astoria, the Tiergarten is a great park to walk or run around at any time if day. It is quite large and extends fight down to the Brandenburg Gates which are worth the walk, and also the Russian Memorial is on...More

this is a beautiful well used garden. It is peaceful, well kept and interesting. I didn't walk through the whole garden but just different walks in different parts. It seems to be well used by the local people

Fortunately our hotel was close to the park and we walked many miles along the river, after a day of sight seeing. It is nice to walk at the back of the zoo to see some of the animals and birds. One of our favorite...More

The park is located near Brandenburg Gate and other significant attractions. I found the park to be a peaceful place to walk even when the areas around it were very busy.

You pay around 10€ for three people. You look around a small museum which is mostly tacky souvenirs from other famous monumnets around the world. But, you can then go up a few flights of stairs to see a reasonable view of Berlin. But if...More

Berlin is great, but it's also a little bit dirty to say the least. The Tiergarten is great for a little getaway from the hustle and bustle. And with some fun beer gardens, there's something for everyone.

Such a cool chilled out park. We cycled through here & had some beers & lunch in the sunshine by the boating lake . Plenty of space for everyone including the nude people, a bit different to British parks! Very Berlin, love it !

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

Walking in the park, seeing the gardens, Lamp Post Museum and many beautiful statues is free. There's a charge for going inside the Victory Column (Siegessäule), and of course for food and drink at the restaurants.
Is it possible to rent a bike here ?
