This was one of my favourite attractions in Berlin. So much of the Berlin Wall history is very dark, it was great to see such a positive monument. I took my time walking around, taking photos, admiring the art and thinking about its significance. I...More

There is a lot more to see here than what I expected, this is a very long remaining section of the Berlin Wall and has such beautiful artwork. I would not class this as a memorial site, that can be found elsewhere, but mainly you...More

We were based in oranienburger strasse and waked to the east side gallery as the sun was shining. It was around 40 minuites and I was pleasantly surprised when we came across the wall. We then strolled slowly admiring the art work and remembering the...More

Must see - it keeps the memory alive so we don't forget and let something like this happen again. The artwork is amazing but still a bit shocking to see how The Wall was built so quickly.

We are so glad we visited here on our last day in the city, it's a 1 mile stretch of the Berlin Wall and very evocative with local artists' impressions. Very interesting with gaps along it here and there so you can see the river...More

This is well worth a visit when in Berlin. Take a walk along the strip of wall that has been left. It has amazing pictures on it by various different artists.

The murals are beautiful and well worth a visit. The fact that artists from around the world created the various pieces and the fact that many promote peace was especially moving. I took quite a few pictures and every who has seen them has enjoyed...More

This is a showcase of how artists made the best of the dull wall. Lots of imagination has gone into the artworks. The messages on the walls go across parts of life. Go and admire sure you will find an interesting artwork

The nearest station is Warschauer Straße station. Accessible by both the S-Bahn (S5, S7, S75) the U-Bahn (U1). This is about 5 minutes walk from the start of the wall. Enjoy!

Yes. When I was there I noticed children and people with canes observing this unique and one of a kind gallery. Enjoy.
