    The landmark with a bonus
If you visit the Berliner Dom, you have to attempt to walk up to the panoramic view from the top. 360 view from the top to the city is amazing. Architecturally it is top class engineering solution. Once finish your tour, take a sit at the caffe behind the building with a view to the river

    Spectacular - Must See!
We visited this cathedral based on a recommendation of our hotel concierge. We did not expect such a spectacular site. We took the walk up to the viewing platform and had breathtaking views of the entire city. The walk to the platform is approximately 260 steps up, a bit challenging so I recommend having a water bottle with you. We did not do a guided tour, but it may have provided some additional details that were not in the brochure. This is a definite must see if visiting Berlin.

    Great views of Berlin
We spent a nice afternoon at the Dom. you can sit on the grassy area out front and chill in the sunshine, it’s got a really good vibe and people watch. You need to have a ticket to get in and the area to purchase these is on the right hand corner as you look at the Dom. I attempted to order in English and the chap was brilliant. He was really engaging and gave us student discount as a thanks for trying! The Dom itself is quite interesting inside but the view at the top is what made the visit worthwhile! It’s quite a climb though up a variety of different staircases so would be a struggle for some. But, we took our time and once at the top it was perfect! I do think that there could have been some information up and around but thankfully we grabbed a leaflet at the ticket booth and that was quite useful, plus google helped! As you leave there are toilets and a small cafe. However, if you cross over the bridge there are some nice food places where you can sit and chill in the sun with a drink and look at the Dom, which was much Nicer. Definitely worth a visit!

Very impressive cathedral. You must do the climb to the top
Set on Museum Island, the Dom is a very impressive cathedral. You pay to get in (£15 for us both). Inside it’s a very impressive cathedral. The big attraction is a climb of over 250 steps to reach an outside viewing platform. The steps have many places to rest along the way and decent hand rails. The view from the top is awesome. Well worth it all.

    Woah!
I hd no intention of visiting here - but, stopped at the incredible architecture as I strolled past. I’m so glad that I stopped and visited - as soon as I walked through the entrance, I was in awe. A beautiful cathedral; with incredible art and such a calm environment. I ventured up the dome (breathless, I hasten to add!) and the view was incredible. For 10 euros (for a single person) - this is well worth it!

You will get your steps in
Beautiful cathedral and well worth the climb up to the dome. There are a lot of steps and no lift. The stairs start out nice and wide and get narrower and steeper as you go up. I recommend going slow and taking breathers at the stopping places. The views are worth it. The first floor interior is relatively small for a cathedral. The organ was playing while we were there, which was beautiful to listen too. The reconstruction of the building was well done. There is a small gift shop and bathroom in the basement as well as a cafe outside along the river.

Stunning but a lot of exercise!
It is as beautiful inside as it is out. Genuinely worth the visit and would go to this over some of the museums. However, to get to the top is a lot of stairs so bring water and take it at your own pace. As a pair of 20-year-olds, we were exhausted! The views from the top are worth it but definitely do not do this if you are scared of heights! Even the stairs coming down were scary and felt unsafe (they were safe, but looked really old).

    4 stars!
It was a pretty building, in a central location. I did not visit the inside, but it was the crown of my time enjoying the river at night, eating Currywurst and hanging out with my friends. One of the few worthy architectural sights in Berlin.

    Beatiful place, climb up!
It pays 10 euros per person to visit, but Ibthink its worth of it. I came with my wife. Church itself is beatiful from inside, nice paintings and colours. It takes about 270 steps to climb to the highrt "balkany", but definately worth going. Just take your time, maybe one break for breath and suddenly you have done it. Stairs gets narrow on top. Beatiful views and excellent place to take pictures.

A must visit masterpiece in Berlin
Wonderful masterpiece, the luxurious architect inside, the statues, drawings, the organ, everything needs some time to stop by. The panoramic view upstairs is a wonderful unique experience where you can see Berlin from above while having a closer look at the angels on the dome. I really recommend it.

It's worth a visit to the Dome which does dominate the skyline if just for the view. The steps to the top are not too bad if you take your time and the interior is impressive as Cathedrals tend to be.

Well worth the climb but a bit expensive to huff and puff. Must see for the close up view of statues and intricate work. Photos of Berlin skyline are excellent. Take your time both up and down.

Amazing building, the climbing to the top is a must, unbelievable views of Berlin.
The inside has some things that are great, like the organ , the mausoleum and others.

This was a stunning cathedral with an amazing phoenix like history. The final restoration was not completed until after the millennium. It was cheap to get in and an adventure awaited- a climb up to the cathedral dome via increasingly rickety staircases! I felt a bit out of breath by the top so take your time! A great combination of history, views and exercise.

What can I say except. DO IT. It is a beautiful cathedral but the view from the top it amazing and all for only €10. There are quite a view steps to the top but my parents are in their sixties and they both managed with a few rest stops.

A fascinating church building. Was surprised at how new it was. Not among the largest cathedrals in Europe, and not as much art as one might hope for. Very nice trip up in the dome with a good view of Berlin.

Be prepared to be blown away from this magnificent church. Just sit inside, light a candle, and take in all the grandeur. Open everyday until 5 p.m. I'm so glad we went.

A monumental building with five green domes in the middle of Museum Island. The richly decorated facade and impressive interiors are a real treat for the eyes. Like many of the city's attractions, the cathedral suffered catastrophically during the Second World War. After a lengthy restoration, it was reopened to public viewing only in 1993. The temple is active and is closed to tourists at the beginning of services. However, you can visit it as a parishioner.

Definitely get the combo tickets to climb to the very top. Amazing views. Our kids are 10 and 12 and didn’t really care for the place. They just sat and rested in the cathedral while adults climbed all the stairs
