As my hotel was located in this area it was easy to explore and to get a good look on the centre of former West Berlin. Be sure to explore a little bit more and go to Tauentzienstrasse where the famous Kaufhaus Des Westens is...More

I read somewhere that this avenue is like the Champs-Elysees of Berlin -- you have got to be kidding! Yes, there are plenty of places to shop -- but I did not experience the kind of electricity in the air that you sense on the...More

I took my girlfriend here for a full day of shopping. She was thrilled with the opportunity. A visit to Kudamm is a must if you like shopping. The gay parade was on when we were visiting. A very entertaining show.

This street is a large commercial avenue that could be as good as Champs Elysées with all the high brand shops... but it is not because it was selected by the local under-educated young millionaires to race their supercars on the open streets from morning...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
