A must do for anyone travelling to Berlin! By far our favourite museum on ‘museum island’.. the magnificent magnitude of what has been unearthed and or recreated is exceptional. Experience a time in history almost forgotten. Absolutely beautiful!

The best thing about Pergamon Museum is the Ishtar gate. We were a bit skeptical if that would match the photos, but it has surpassed our expectations. They have rebuilt the entire wall with the help of remains and that huge in size. This is...More

The Pergamon is incredible. A great collection, nicely displayed - and just the right size for a couple of hours of pure pleasure. Two floors, one for the ancient (mesopotamian) world and one for the Islamic world. Fabulous. It is worth checking your coat because...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
