Housed in an old bunker/air raid shelter, the story takes you through the early child hood of Adolf Hitler, the rise of the Socialist movement, through the war years and up until the fall of Berlin. It was very well laid out, informative as well...More

This museum is made inside a big old building on multiple floors. If you watch the building from the outside you will never guess what's inside and how big is it. The first thing you will need to take with you when you go there...More

To round of my trip I decided to go here. Not particularly easy to get to with renovations and it’s location but definitely worth it. The bunker was closed but the story was told in a relaxed and informal way. Nice to finish the trip...More

A little haphazard and it was really busy when we visited which made it a bit difficult to enjoy. Some of the films were superb and the bunker is the highlight.

This was an interesting museum. Wish I knew my world history better since it would have made more sense. There is construction going on out front so it was difficult to find the entrance. And the bunker was closed, which was a disappointment. But our...More

This could have been so much better. The information is completely unorganised. It neither runs to a timeline nor themes. Rather it feels like a room has been built because they have a certain exhibit. There were several screens not working. The initial medieval room...More

The story of Berlin in it self is exiting, and this exhibition tells it in a fascinating way. Light, sound and text takes you through 800 years of history, with an emphasis om the latest 100. Unfortunately the atom-bunker was closed due to maintenance, but...More

This museum is nothing more or less than superficial overview of Berlin’s history. Visit the museum if you have time (and ten Euros) to spare. I found the juxtaposing of the living rooms in East and West Berlin insightful. The lady at reception assured me that...More

This museum is all over the place. Exhibits don't follow a chronological sequence. Hard to know when video will be shown in English. Terrible!

This is billed as " interactive", but since when is squinting at panels of text interactive? What you see in the photo is about all there is, long corridors with a jumble of material behind glass. You spend most of your time walking in the dark...More

Yes, you can drop it off at the front entrance when you buy your tickets. Also, they don't let backpacks in so if you have one, you will need to leave it there.
