Great local market in the vibrant Kreuzberg. We really enjoyed eating and drinking here: there are plenty of options to choose from and it has a convenient outdoor area to sit down and enjoy your food.

Review is only about „Geflügel Oase“ in Marheineke. Unbelievable price, paid only 14 Euros for chicken, duck, potatoes and coke. Quality was like lovely house made, nothing special but very satisfying. I was surprised to find such a place here in the more expensive area. This is really a secret tip.

While creating a glamorous aura is not one of Berlin's strengths, ther gentification of the surrounding areas has created a nice place that comes close to similar places in the Mediterranean countries. You can by quality stuff and enjoy some snacks. A small glimpse of livability in Berlin.

This market is worth a visit if you are a foodie. Great stuff. I was looking for some schabefleisch and found it here, with some fresh baked rolls. Visit.

Great place to visit and explore the combinations of marketplaces and food stands. We ate a pizza stand and drunk their own brewed beer. Pizza good and their crostini’s excellent. Owner super friendly

Lots of variety & high quality at reasonable prices. I can only vouch for the crepes at Le Bretagne, but what I had was excellent.

Out of all the food markets and food halls I visited while in Berlin, the Marheineke Markthalle felt the most local and authentic. The decidedly gritty vibe suits the neighborhood and the market well. The open space is jam-packed with different food booths that serve everything from Chinese food to healthy cookies to fresh seafood to local currywurst sausages. Whatever you're hungry for, you'll likely find it here.

We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon when the place was packed with locals. There were some tourists of course, but this didn't feel like a destination that catered to out-of-towners. We ended up making two booth stops: the first for coffee and a freshly baked oatmeal cookie, and then for a sausage and local beer.

I enjoyed my espresso and cookie, and it was a great treat to start the day. Hubby loved the currywurst stand! It is worth noting the sausage place was packed with friendly locals, all eager to strike up conversations in broken English. We even asked a nice couple which beer we should get and took their recommendation (it was delicious). Always chat up the local patrons if they are willing to talk to you.

The food here looked high quality, was cheap, and had a nice assortment. Definitely worth a stop if you're interested in putting together your own foodie tour of Berlin.

This is Berlin`s one of last Markthalles that is still open.
You will find colourful vegetable and fruit shops,
and place to buy some meat or fish.
You will not leave hungry from here, because there
are also couple snack bars.
