Went there with two 10 year old boys. They don't have information in English at the front desk, and didn't let us take a look inside. They do recommend the place for kids under 11. My boys, who are huge LEGO fans, were extremely disappointing. The rides were designed for much younger kids. The 4D movie displayed in German only.... More

I wish my parents would have taken me to Legoland when I was young. But at least I get to live all these places through the eyes of my 5.5 years old son. I didn't imagine this place to be so big, you cannot guess that from the outside. There are some really cool stuff in there such as the... More

Make sure your child likes lego before going and dress them in light clothes as hot inside. Might be a bit much for very small children and a bit little for big children but if your child is from 6 to 10-11 and it's cold outside- this is a place to go. There is Lego cities, lego to play, lego... More

Good place to entertain the younger kids 2-5. Honestly the place is very small. Toilets are difficult to get to. Attractions r minimal. The kids find it awesome though. Small area, dusty legos. Hopefully LEGOLAND would be more hygienic and disinfect the legos / play area more often. If you are coming as a tourist, I would advise to visit... More

Very good if you and your kids fancy LEGO. You can spend a rainy afternoon learning and practice how to build different sets of LEGO. Very kid friendly, with different scenarios and even a small "rollrcoaster"

Instead of paying full price entry online or at the door, I would advise you to get a happy meal from any Mc Donald's and get a 50% voucher which valid for up to 5 people entry to Lego Land Discovery Centre. Overall - really busy, boiling hot inside, expensive cafe inside, noisy (I ended up with massive headache) Dragon... More

This is not an easy place to recommend. I visited it with my son, age 8, and he was too old for most of the stuff here. As a parent this is close to living hell - being locked deep in a basement with 100s of kids yelling and playing - and nowhere to be. The expectations was high, but... More

I remain torn about this place a week after visiting. If I was rating the place as my 3 year old it would be an easy 5 / 5. However, as an adult its a generous 3 / 5. As an avid Lego fan I had big expectations for this place particularly after paying the €18.50 admission fee (times two... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
