On Sunday's - especially when the weather is nice - this is the place to be in Berlin if you like live music in a festival like atmosphere. Bands playing, people barbequing and the flea market make the perfect setting for a relaxed day in...More

Such a good place to go. With its wimpy trees and anaemic lawn, Mauerpark is hardly your typical leafy oasis. Enjoy your time there.

The Berlin Wall used to run alongside this park, now it is just a huge city park with lots of sports activities. Well-used by the locals.

If in Berlin on a warm Sunday afternoon, I recommend going to Mauerpark. Look through hipster stands at the fleamarket and bring a bear to drink while sitting in the grass and listening to brave people bust out moves at the karaoke station. Enjoy the...More

This is a real flea market in that it is full of tat. It is so bad it's funny. You could buy anything you want there. It is very busy and was mobbed when we went on a very cold Sunday Lunchtime. I thought the...More

Came here for the flea market, which turned out to be enormous. There were a lot of people in the park enjoying the sunny day.

No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,

At aroubd 5pm, there won't be many boothes till opened from the flee market. The karaoke might start around that time, or even around 4pm. 7pm is definitively late, but there is still often party going on till night.
