This place has obnoxious loud people who , I think are not locals, that disturb other people enjoying this gigantic airfield.

Coolest, and windyist place in whole Berlin. 4 million square meters at free and sporty disposal. A must see if you want to visit all Berlin historical landmarks.

Such a fantastic place!! When do you ever have the chance to walk on runway? It’s a great place to bbq with friends, just have a nap or do sports. Also perfect for pictures and to watch sunset. Many locals go there!!

Visiting Tempelhof on a sunny spring day was the highlight of our recent visit. Didn't really know what to expect, but soon realised it was well worth the trip. How often does one get to explore a runway? The fact that the city has opened this to the public rather than handing it over to property developers should be commended. Wonderful!

There were several offerings of rental-bikes, trikes, tandem bikes, segways etc. Bring some cash and be aware that they may require a deposit of 50 euro as in our case. Great fun for kids to rip up and down the airfield.

I had been banging on about going here cause it thought it was going to be so awesome, we walked two hours to get there in the cold. It was nice walking but by the time we got there it was such an anti climax. It was a massive park and nice to see people putting it to good use walking the dogs or exercising but it was literally just a big empty field, it would’ve been nicer in the summer I’m sure. The old airport is interesting to look at. I would’ve liked to have gone inside but wasn’t sure if your able to. If your an avid plane fan this is for you and if you just want a park or field to exercise etc then here you have it.

The once used airport for the US, UK & French aid drops has now been opened to the public.

Stunning to see so many people in one area just relaxing, walking, cycling, roller blading, hand paragliding..

It is a beautiful peaceful place, worth a visit. Take a picnic if you can just let the world pass you by

An amazing place for visiting in a sunny day. Children with kites, people reading, running or just relaxing. It is a brilliant way to turn a former airport in a communal garden and park.

We hired bicycles and cycled to the park. It was an incredible feeling cycling down a runway. There are abandoned planes and lots of exciting things to explore. Lots of people come here to relax, exercise, enjoy the weather and fly kites. You can't believe it until you see it. Again this is another place in Berlin where it's future is uncertain. The council have given the airport back to the people...but not permanently....so see it whilst you can as it could be shut down next week!
