You must visit here for a drink! Good location and prices, music is good and let's not forget the furniture on the ceiling. Will definitely come back as this place is up there on the weirdness levels and I love it!

We visited Madame Claude by chance and were really pleased we did. A weird & wonderful bar. Friendly staff, cheap drinks and a good atmosphere. They had 2 live bands on when we went (Saturday night) which was a bonus. Got chatting to the other...More

When you arrive at Madame Claude, you're reminded of its history of a brothel. But, look past the big metal doors and head on down the stairs inside, you won't regret. We landed in the bar in the middle of the Wednesday night music quiz...More

Awesome place for people who like alternative, underground culture. I saw some great music there, the bar was great, people were friendly and the DJ in the bar was playing dark ambient psych. They also have furniture stuck to the ceiling and everything is upside...More

This place was great for a group of friends to sit for a beer. Good beer selection, very reasonable pricing and nice diverse mix of Berliners and foreigners. The DJ upstairs was very good and the music wasn't too loud for socializing. The music downstairs...More

Interesting place where the interior is in the ceiling. Cheap drinks and the place is like a labyrinth of a very decadent apartment with live music in the basement. There is a optional entry fee of 1-6 €. Worth a visit before going clubbing.

It is a quite small bar but it is worth a visit because it has unique style and the upside down consept makes it a must see of Berlin. Sometimes you have to pay a cheap donation (between 1-6 €) in order to get in...More

Cool bar to enjoy the night and sit on cozy seats (if still avaulable). We spent a few nights in Madame Claudes and it was always fun. The things are different there so a great place to chat with friends and let the time pass.

This Kreuzberg labyrinth-bar it's famous for its upsidedown furniture, (you feel yourself a bit like Alice in Wonderland) I suggest it as a place to hit up for an early drink before going to a club. Worth a visit!😊

Madame Claude's is one of the strangest place I've ever been, whilst simultaneously fitting in perfectly within Berlin. The place is certainly atmospheric; the amazing upsidedown decor of the main bar creates the illusion that you're sitting on the ceiling as you listen to ambient...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today

It looked that way when we were there. A friend of mine is playing in October and that's been booked for months, so I can imagine they have a pretty booked up roster.
