This obelisk is probably an old one, from 1805, but is is not really special. Smaller than normally obelisk I've ever seen and no egypt character at all. It's kind of decoration on the market square, you can't miss it.

It is rather a simple monument surrounded by beautiful buildings and an interesting market. It is easy to spot and there's a Maypole nearby.

This is a rather plain disappointing obelisk however it sits in a very good market place where there is also the large Marien Chapel.

This is a rather plain obelisk, sitting in the markt platz amid the stalls, near the Marienkappelle and the Falkenhaus and information center. Just a thing to see as you walk around the plaza.

If you have seen any of the Obelisks' in Rome and the ornate plinths and carvings that surround them and are on them, this will be a little disappointing. A good marker to get into the market place, but nothing to write home about.

The square with some nice buildings and monuments around. Nice for a stop but I found the old bridge more attracitive.
