As we headed toward the Spital Tower and Bastion, we went right past this pretty church. As the church bells were ringing for services that morning, we did not go inside. The history of this section with hospital is interesting.

This church has this awesome little tower attached to its side. From what I could see on the inside, there is no way to get in to it so I am very intrigued. Also this section of town is not visited as often as the rest and was a quiet respite from the noise and the crowds.

As we were touring Rothenburg we spotted a brochure for a Celtic Christmas Concert to be held in the Holy Ghost Church. It seemed to be a perfect way to spend an early evening after walking around the town and shopping at the Christmas Market. As there is so much to see in the city, I only saw this church' exterior. The Church is a part of the Holy Spirit hospital complex with a variety of buildings that were built outside the city walls on the so-called Cap tip about 1280.
