A pleasant experience, feeling like knights

It was fun to hang out around the city streets of the city, just feeling like knights, tall people have a problem some low places so beware. Highly recommended that total

My only dis-appointment, was the wall is not a contintuous access. There are sections you will come down from, to find the next entry point. Views over the city and to outside the city vary along the way, keeping it intriguing. You go from stone underfoot to wooden decks at times, from narrow to wide, and from good head height... More

We have walked the entire wall. It is really interesting to see and you get nice views of the city. Also, out the south end, there are sections that has places they had cannons. Unfortunately this was closed this time, perhaps due to the "off season", but it is interesting if you can find it open.

It's very nice to walk on historic structure and you can see Rothenburg ob der tauber by bird eye view. It's good activity and It's free.

The Town walls are incredibly well preserved and you shouldn't miss a walk around the town on the wall. In the town you will find all the directions and indication signal to follow a nice tour.

Even on a rainy day it was a great walk with lots of views. Unique experience. Visit the TI for info before you walk so you will understand what you are seeing.

Just like being in Game of Thrones on the Wall, not really, but a very well preserved mid-evil wall.

Multiple points of entry onto the old city walls. Look out to the countryside or back in to the city, buildings, and open areas. Some sections are very short, others long. Think about how people were shorter back then as your duck your head in many spots. Imagine when neighboring groups tried to conquer the admittedly quaint and peace-loving town,... More

Even if history interests you just a little bit, then the town walls is a must-see. I walked about 1/2 of it, but would have walked the entire perimeter had I known earlier in the day that people were allowed to walk it. Put on a good pair of shoes since this is a walking town and there is much... More

Miles of wall covered so bad weather not an issue. Great views from every angle. The town is just amazing you can do as much or little of wall to suit
