One of my favorite places in Germany. I have been here 5 times and each time i find something new and better. The views are perfect and so picturesque. Definitely take the nightwatchmen's tour if a first time visitor and go to the park on...More
we took a 3 hour stop for lunch and a little walk around. not many tourists this time of year, people very friendly. since it was cold, we decided to to go on the little train leaving every 30 min in front of the cathedral....More
Amble through the charming cobblestone streets, beautiful medieval centre seemingly frozen in time and encircled by a fortified town wall that remains intact after centuries. See the wonderful market square lined by quaint half timbered houses and the Old Town Hall. A perfect day out

We took the Romantischen Strasse from Munich to Frankfurt and we visited a few cities. The ones we liked the most were Landsberg (1/2 day) and Rothenburg (worth at least a whole day). Augsburg and Bad Merthingen (1/2 day each) were worth a stop. There is a beautiful castle in Harburg but it was closed when we passed by. Enjoy, it is a very nice ride. For curiosity, despite the fact Landsberg is a very cute town, it was the place where Hitler was arrested after the coup in 1923 and where he wore his book Mein Kampf.
