The walk through old town was interesting. There are some tight areas but overall a nice walk. Many shops and restaurants. Our tour guide explained the streets and showed us areas where there are parts of the wall exposed.

We were here on a Scenic River Cruise and took the opportunity to wander around the old town area. We have been here before but it is always worth another look a few years later. There are many shops and restaurants to enjoy, not forgetting...More

We loved walking around Regensburg. Our only regret is not spending more time here. We only stayed for one night but found the shops, restaurants and bars to be fabulous on top of the beauty of the city itself.

Square after square opens onto alleys, streets, cafe's with everyone walking. Beware the strong perfume and constant smoking from elegant draped women to full on lesbians. I wheezed the entire time I was there. Europeans seem to also eat very few to no vegetables.

The historic buildings, such as the cathedral, were wonderful, but this Old Town area suffers because of the modern shops allowed to be built in the neighborhood, shops that look modern, as if no effort was made to maintain the historic atmosphere.

Wonderful old buildings, narrow streets with small shops excellently decorated for Christmas. A nice place to visit especially during the advent period.

Fantastic wander around the old town. Got a bit lost in some of the all yways which was all part of the fun. Plenty of small off beat shops to look into.

Regensberg is lucky to have so many “old” buildings around. The feel is excellent and reminded me of Prague in some ways - the streets etc. Nice Mukti-coloured buildings added to the spirit on a freezing cold winter day! Great visit - lovely town! A...More

Regensburg has some wonderful christmas markets in the various squares which sell some nice food and gifts. The town has some nice old buildings and small winding streets. If it is dry and things are open it is pleasant. When raining, cold and everything is...More

For the city center, we parked at Dachauplatz Parking House, very easy to find, because you just get off the main highway (15) to your right, to the south and drive in the old town Eiserne Brücke. Use your navigation system... More

Hi, most famos is the 'Wurstkuchl'. It is nearly by the 'Steinernen Brücke'. You can eat Bratwurst and drink something. Wish you a very pleasant stay
