Just beautiful

A beautiful place where you can spend some quiet time, take a walk and take some pictures. A lot of people and restaurants nearby.

Walk up the stairs and you will get to the attic. At right times, there will be no one and you can open the windows and take great pictures of the Dom and surrounding areas.

I confes that we arrived here early on a walking tour, so we did not take a tour inside, but the exterior is photogenic both from the city side and river/bridge side

It's good for a picture, but no need to spend a lot of time there. Many places in Old Europe are picturesque like this building, but, yet, each one if different. Well Maintained old building.

Beautiful building welcoming at the foot of the stone bridge. Today it has the visitor center and some shops.

This old building houses a modern vistors center that serves as a great start to the city. I highly recommed the tours of the city (multiple languages offered), books and souvenirs that are offered here. A tour of the building is given as well, but I always seem to miss the tour given in English.

Since the city was not bombed in WW2, the city as a whole is a real relic. We were unable to go into the building due to being on a walking tour with Gate 1. just the exterior is fantastic.

The Rathaus is an impressive structure on the Danube River in Regensburg. We took a city tour as part of our Viking River Cruise, but we didn't have time to go inside. We enjoyed the exterior architecture and then went to the Wurstkuchl to have a bratwurst at one of the oldest restaurants in Germany.

A distinctive building, somewhat different to some German Rathaus. We were unable to go into the building due to time constraints but were fascinated to see preparations for a wedding carriage on a bicycle and trailer near by. We had previously seen guests and the bride walking into the nearby building for a wedding.

Spectacular medieval building that retains much of its character externally and internally. Great for a rainy day visit.
