Take a few minutes to walk up and through this very unique ancient passage way. How construction was so sturdy back then!

Our walking tour took us down the shoreline of the Inn river and through the Innpromenade on the way to the old city center and St Stephens Church. Lots of small shops and historical buildings to look at, and we choose to continue the walk...More

Our walking tour went along this River Inn shoreline paved path on a clear, sunny and crisp day in December. Great views along and across the river while learning the history of the area from our guide. The Schaiblingsturm was especially interesting. Lots of choices...More

The Inn river is much quieter than the busy scene along the Danube. Walk around the Mariahilfstrape is very enjoyable. There is even a small children playground for a break.

This river walk is a must when you visit Passau! You walk along the Inn to the point where all three rivers join. Don't miss the stunning view!

Passau was our first stop in a magnificant Danube bike trip. How nice this town is: the walking areas, thd littls cafés and restaurants, the churches and ofcourse the promenade. Passau is situated between three rivers and merges beautifully with the surrounding nature. Definitely recommended!

What a pleasant place to walk! The Inn, Ilz and Danube Rivers all meet here and there are paved footpaths along the river banks; not surprising since all of Passau is well ordered and tidy. The varied contrasting views are truly beautiful.

After walking through town we headed to the river bank where we found a nicely paved walkway. It was a pleasant walk along the river with a few benches. There was even a children's playground nearby. We saw several ducks and enjoyed the afternoon. We...More
