A beautifully restored baroque cathedral. A huge pipe organ. A huge piece of regional history. All in a charming little city. Be sure and attend the organ concert. Then go to the bar in front of the rathaus for fantastic unfiltered local beer.

Beautiful church near the river, very close to the downtown area and the pedestrian streets.
It seems that there are several interesting churches in Passau ... my time in the city was greatly reduced so this was the only one I visited.
This 1665 church is one of several interesting churches in Passau. Of particular interest is an opening high up in the ceiling where in the past doves would be allowed to fly in to represent the Holy Spirit entering.
Beautiful church stand by the river Inn and a Jesuit school beside. Elegant and stunning with two towers painted in light colors.
The church interior is well ornamented and sculptured saints seen on it specially the figure of Saint Michael the Archangel
Another strikingly beautiful church...so well worth spending 20 or 30 minutes seeing it. Each of the three churches in Passau is so unique and so beautiful in its own way. I'm so glad that we went into St. Michael's.
