This castle is beautiful, be prepared for a steep walk and possibly a large quantity of steps. This area of Nuremberg is very picturesque. The museum is worth a look at but a lot of the signs are in Germany only, so unsure of what...More

Really loved walking around here! DIdn't pay to go into the museum, but just strolling around it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Great view and nice incline workout going up!

A beautiful attraction place which is located just a few meters away from Hauptmarkt. If you are travelling family with kids, your kids may enjoy the surrounding area of Castle and the rocks for climbing

Walked up and around the castle. We didn’t pay to enter any of the rooms. The views were very good from up here. The best part were the gardens. Very peaceful, quiet and beautiful flower beds.

If you want to see tourist type stuff, come here. Beautiful view of the city from atop the Castle! You do have to walk up some hills but it’s worth it!

Full of history, past and present. Its tower gives a glimpse of the grandiosity of this old German town; you can see through the pictures what the war has destroyed and how the city was rebuilt...

Worth going up to the castle for the views over Nuremberg. We had our packed lunch on a bench looking over the city. Quite a special place to visit and a lovely old castle too

This a must do if visiting Nuremberg. Whilst not huge there are several buildings to visit. The deep well sets the scene illustrating why the location was picked for a castle. The views from the tower and walls are extensive across the city and the...More

It comes down to have you been to another Germany old town? If not, then it is a yes. If you have and enjoyed the other one, then I would go. If you do like seeing old buildings/walls or moats, then do not go. I like old... More
