The museum is under construction, so the entire paid tour is in 1 room with a bunch of posters. Waste of time until construction is finished.

This place is currently undergoing some sort of restoration, but probably at a slow pace, as there were no workers visible.
There are photos, how it looked before. It was completely demolished and a lot of work was done. But it is not enough yet - half of the place is closed for safety reasons, documentation center is closed too and the only information, you can get on boards is, how is are the restorations going, what is the intended state and how much it was damaged before. No relevant information on the history.
4* is the historical authenticity. If you are already in Nuremburg, dont miss it. If you plan to visit Nuremburg to see it, dont do that, you will be disappointed.

Heavy place to visit. Important for us to remember the past and share the history with our son. They have signs with English translations.

There isn't a lot to see here. Most of the buildings are allowed to gently fall into a state of decline--fearing perhaps that renovating them would enhance the Nazi experience. Anyway, you can go up to the rostrum of the rally grounds and get a sense of the enormousness of the place. This gives you pause as to the nature of the Nazi experience and how Hitler molded the German people to his vision that ultimately led to his country's destruction. The rally grounds are open to the public. The museum about the history of the Nazi party is now partly closed with only a temporary exhibit available for viewing.

This is truly and impressive site; particularly considering that the structure was never really completed. Easy to see how an assembled group would be influenced strongly by propaganda. The lake outside adds to the impression of strength. Matches many of today's arenas for size.

The rally grounds are enormous and pretty much still the same(except rundown and overgrown w/ weeds) since Hitler's time. Not much has changed. Amazing to see where Hitler held his rallies and to hear our guide's vivid descriptions of what took place.

One of the most interesting parts of the rally ground is the landing strip and speech podium i am sure you have seen pictures of the stadium with the giant swastika on the top - this is the place!

Truly a spectacle when in full operation. It was one of the only mass projects the Nazi's completed.

Get a guide to understand the nuances and bring this sad part of history to life. Hitler would arrive via air and descend like a god from the sky, They would have search lights around the area and light them up to show light columns shooting up into the sky. It was all about the show and designed to make you feel part of something that was huge and powerful. Tanks would enter, go by the reviewing stand, exit and come around again to give the illusion of limitless power.

A good guide can bring this all back to life for you

This, unfortunately, is a historic site still left from Hitler's time. This is where he held his yearly, week long Nazi rallies where people would stream in from the whole country. The structures are in for the most part still in place. Now, the fields are used as a soccer field and an overflow parking lot.

There is so much left standing here - we thought it might be all gone but amazed to be able to walk up to the area where the dictator made his speeches. The main museum is unfortunately under renovation but the interim exhibition is worth seeing. This is an easy tram or S-Bahn ride from the Hauptbahnhof. A must see. We must not forget what happened.

Weirdly moving experience. Letting the place slowly go to ruin while allowing safe access seems like the best approach. In our trip, I came to respect Germanys treatment of its 20th Century legacy.
