We found this a striking museum - far too much to see in one go. The buildings are interesting in themselves - one approaches the entrance along a pedestrian street with monumental columns inscribed with the UN declaration of rights. The entrance hall and cafe...More

I highly recommend this museum. In particular, I love the medieval exhibits, the 20th century exhibits (up on the top floor), the small but nonetheless interesting exhibit on measurement & scientific tools, and the extensive exhibit covering musical instruments. For those of you who are...More

This museum is so well done, with so much to see, that multiple visits are required. Well arranged, and everything well signed (and described also in English). Wonderful exhibits of old musical instruments too. Worth a visit, or two!

This is a museum that is worth a visit, well even more than one, as its collection of German art is so extensive. Plenty of paintings, art, of the Middle age to discover

I loved this place. It houses a lot of religious art from Bavaria. It was well worth the visit just to see the oldest globe - from around 1492 or so. It doesn't have America in it because Columbus had not yet returned to report...More
