This is a huge train station, although relatively clean with many shops. Bathrooms are harder to find so plan extra time if you need one.

This place rocks. The Germanic efficiency oozes throughout. Cleaner than most big stations anywhere it just works.

So many shops and places to pick up a quick bite. Easy to navigate. From here you can get on subway, trams, buses or trains.

Very efficient to get somewhere else, and recently renovated. The problem is that train stations tend to gather some unsavoury elements and this one is no exception. Certainly safe enough and efficient, but don't see much reason to stay and linger.

Well I spent most of my time in Bogen and Straubing and two days in Munich and no car. So I cannot really provide you with options. Base case once your there you would need to ask around.

There are lockers at the station so you can store your luggage there. I would go to the ticket office to get a ticket that would allow you to use the metro within Munich and also the train out to the airport. The ticket... More
