Find that station offers convenient accessibility to the main attractions in Munich and the surroundings. You can practically go anywhere from there. It’s also a lot of fun wondering around the station and grab food or coffee.

Big station with many platforms but rather clear layout. Lots of food: sausages, western, Asian, breads, desserts etc. But seating area for only selected stalls. All of them speak English.

We passed through catching a train and making Spahn connections. I liked the abundance of food offered. Connections were easy. It was very busy during Oktoberfest but accommodated our needs well.
