This little castle is absolutely lovely. Quite "complete", with a surrounding wall, inner patio, watchtowers, a tavern, library, chapel and even an antiques shop. In a beautiful wooded park, with canal and ponds full of waterfowl, because of time constraints, I did not get a...More

The way to visit Blutenburg is to walk from Pasing to the castle along the river. It is beautiful and you will encounter several playgrounds if you are with your kids. Bring bread to feed the ducks and geese. Enjoy lunch at the castle's restaurant....More

A wonderful small palace within an intimate setting. Library, lake and small restaurant make it an easy stop. The chapel in the wall of the palace is also a delight. Don't miss it. Great at any time of year.

This wonderful picturesque little castle is located some 9.26 km west from the city centre and it dated from 15th century. It was used as a hunting-lodge. Very peaceful, pleasant and relaxing experience. My recommendation!

Less of a tourist sight but rather a little gem of the city that not many know about. If you're in the area (e.g. When leaving or entering the autobahn) pay this place a visit. Either just for 5 minutes to have a look or...More
