On a rainy day we visited the Nymphenburg Palace nearby and between rain showers decided to walk through the botanical garden. Being autumn, there were not a lot of flowers blooming but it's still a lovely garden area with walking trails and lots of plants....More

This must be one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Europe! We were there in August, and the summer flower arrangements around the dam took our breath away. Big enough for a walk, and the restaurant offers cold white wine in the outdor area.

Just walking around in the greenhouse was definitely my favourite part of the Botanical Garden. So peaceful and very well organised with a lot of small houses. Definitely recommend this a visit even as an alone-activity.

Lovely gardens and great cafe . Fabulous walks. And borders to die for.. Shop a bit disappointing not a lot of books in English. Nor much about gardens.

The light rail train from Munich central station to amalienburg strasse with the # 17 train. The stop is botanischer garten and the entrance to the garden is across the street.
