We chanced upon this by accident on our way back to Odeonsplatz station from the English Garden. We were lucky to see it on a beautifully sunny day and with a couple of musicians entertaining a small crowd inside it.

I really liked it here. Set just off Odeonplatz, it is a peaceful place. Large and spacious it really is a lovely and plush setting. I here was here around Christmas time but it must look amazing in the summer during full bloom. Recommended.
We walked through this garden on our way from the English Garden back to Munich centre and there were a couple of buskers playing the glockenspiel in the rotunda. Obviously not guaranteed for everyones visit but it made it feel very Bavarian.
