There's little point in visiting in winter. The trees are barren, the ground struggling to cope with the cold.

We went there in January and it was covered in snow. Everything was white and it was like winterwonderland with snowmans. Place for a beautiful walk and chill.

Just wonderful and peaceful. The white scenery was breathtaking, it was -3 degrees Celsius yet we had a warming walk around the lake.

There is parking, but I believe it can be quite pricey. Much better to walk, or use public transport, which is very good in Munich. That way you can have a few beers while you’re there.
