We enjoyed a morning at Schloss Nymphenburg touring the interior and going for a stroll in the garden. Also took time to have a light lunch in the cafe. This is a must see palace.

This is a lovely palace - easily accessible from Laim S bahn station. The grounds are lovely - given that it was started in the 1700s - commendable job! Vision to develop such a masterpiece is truly commendable. Well maintained and enjoyable. Couple of hours...More

Excellent value at €8.50, gardens, royal apartments, carriage house and royal porcelain collection. Worth a visit.

We visited on a really cold day. It is really pretty inside, but keep your coat on as it was not heated. It feels a lot like visiting Versailles. Totally recommend this Palace and the Sleigh/Carriage Exhibit in the other Museum next door.

An "indoor" castle, meaning this is not a place fortified against enemies, hence no massive walls and battlements. But the place is really beautiful and well-kept.

What a visit and this was not expected a wonderful palace well cared for by the government. What this must of been centuries ago, amazing. Could only imagine. We caught tram 17 from the main station and lakes about a km to the palace

Unlike the other responses I believe that the audio guide is essential since it provides wonderful insights and helps to avoid aimless wandering through this wonderful palace.
