Beautiful inside and out. Lovely, well-maintained grounds with ducks, geese, and swans; Gallery of Beauties was my favorite spot inside

Beautiful and interesting. The grounds and the gardens are the real attraction here to me. You could walk the grounds for hours and see well laid out, beautiful gardens, fountains, wooded pathways. Very nice stop near Munich!

Well maintained park witch invites to a long stroll and break for refreshments in between. Good for kids to learn a bit of German culture plus free run around.

It is not only the palace, but all the surrounding buildings and gardens, that will impress you. The property is very well kept and the guided tour you can get, describes the history of the palace very well.

Had a good time visiting the Palace on the Tram which made it so easy. Such an amazing place and the size is just incredible. Fun for kids too.

It was nice to visit the palace, the gardens are beautiful, and the palace allows you the chance to see how royalty lived in the past. We were there in December, so it wasn't too busy. You can catch a tram from the city centre...More

We first visited in 1990. Since then, more restoration has taken place. This is the "country" home of the kings of Bavaria, whose city home was the Residenz. Take the subway to the upscale, suburban-feel neighborhood (there is a school next to the Nymphenburg grounds)....More

We were amazed by the sheer dimensions of Nymphenburg - the palace itself is enormous, so is the park behind it. Very nice for a stroll or taking a rest....or a mixture of both.

Visited this palace for 25 minutes as a stopover from a bus tour group. The grounds are spectacular but we did not go inside the palace so cannot comment on the inside tour.

We took a cab ride out and a cab ride back. We were advised this was the most efficient way to and from.

Yes definitely if you're taking taxi or transit. Go early so less people there. Good luck and enjoy!
