This is a small museum. It shows the bavarian beer tradition and gives some impressions of the Oktoberfest in Munich and the history. It's worth a visit.

Dani was our tour guide and she made the trip so interesting and having only lived in Munich for 5 years, from Oregon USA she really knew her stuff. She was able to give us a history of Oktoberfest that currently goes on in September...More

Small, interesting museum, but the best part of the visit was the movie on the 3rd floor. Most of the important written information was translated to English, but much was only in German. I wanted to read the details as well. :) Afterwards you can...More

We scoped this out on things to do in Munich and thought it was very appropriate. It's easy to get your hopes up since Oktoberfest and beer in Munich have a huge reputation. While this museum might be in a historically significant building and contain...More

Lot's of small rooms with nothing to see. Few dozens of beer mugs and that's all. Family ticket for 6 euro. Waste of time.

I went there first to visit the musem and then to have a beer and drink something. Honestly I didn't find so interesting the museum and there wasn't a free taste of beer included in the ticked, thing made from all other museums and beer...More

As museums go, this was very disappointing; it was closer to a private collection of beer steins with photos and a few other pieces of memorabilia together with a short, 12-minute, film. Spread over several floors of this old building, it also lacked a clear...More
