Look like to good to be true... may Mr Disney was here before he designed the Disney World castle? Problem is that it is always full of people with long line ups. Try to arrive on a weekday and as early as the open.

The line is awful, so get there early in the morning before opening or purchase tickets two days in advance or more. We went in the winter and Mary's bridge was closed for safety. This was very disappointing since this is where the photo of...More

As a castle fanboy like myself. It still ranks top of my list. Worth the hike albeit it was tiring. Beautiful.

We were fortunate to travel to Fussen by car with friends. Tickets for the Castle should be bought or at least reserved online about 2 days in advance to avoid disappointment. It was a snowy day when we visited which just added to the magical...More

Hi Sarah We stayed at Fuessen and caught a bus. They run from the post office. We wrote three reviews for the castles. Linderhof was the best with smaller crowds and very grand. We then went onto Oberammergau (went... More

You walk right up to the entrance of the castle (the path leads you there). When you go through the gateway (past the bathroom and a small postcard shop) you will see an electronic board with the entry times and numbers... More

Mary's Bridge is crowded on a sunny day and it wiggled like a suspension bridge. It was one of my least favorite view points because of the crowds. Many were polite. A few were were actually pushing people. I'm sure the... More
