Before starting the hike to Partnachklamm the Olympic stadium is here from the 1930's i believe. Fantastic! The hike takes you under, through, around some breathtaking views from inside the gorge. The sound of the thundering water is awesome! The color is pristine as it...More

Good walk up to gorge and spectacular walk through. We kept going up a steep climb to a secluded hotel which had a small cable car back to the bottom which is unmanned at the top. It moves off once you get in and close...More

I would recommend everyone to visit this place you go up by the cable car & then go down towards the waterfalls, you'll spend around 45 minutes to finish the hike

The path really should be one way, it was quite tricky getting around people going the opsit way as you are on the very thin path especially if you have children. But the VIEW was amazing. Bring water proof shoes and be prepared for about...More

I was not expecting Partnachklamm to blow me away as much as it did! Really an amazing site! The water snaking through the gorge is crystal blue, and the water running down the walls creates beautiful rainbows when it catches the light. You get a...More

We did a torch lit walk through here. It was pretty cool, however I think it would be even more breath taking during the day when you can see all the way up the ravine.

The gorge is a "must see" even if it's raining. It is about half an hour walk from the train station to the ticket booth, the road is paved and has geological exhibits on the way. The path in the gorge is mostly sheltered from...More

I just want other travelers to know, the gorge is not open in March. We hiked up to the gorge and there was a fence across the entrance. We talked to the man at the cable car and he said it would be closed until...More

It was several years ago that we hiked Partnachklamm, but it remains a highlight of our travels. The walk can be a little unnerving, but it's not dangerous, just overwhelming. The falls and gorge are spectacular and the walking not too strenuous. It's absolutely beautiful!...More

Not recommended - both have a lot of walking and are over an hour apart. Unless you are an alpine speed walker I don't think it would be an enjoyable day - if you had to do one or the other I would do the castles - there... More

Hi. I have limited mobility and would like to know about walking the Klamm. About how long does it take and how far is it to the waterfalls from where the horse drawn carraige drops you off? I would really like to walk it if at all possible. Thanks.

Horse drawn carriage will get you very close to the falls. Limited Mobility? The walk into the falls is very close and cramped. Good luck.
