We have dinner in an outdoor cafe restaurant. We could see the mountains from our seat. The town is so well kept beautiful window boxes and different designs on the buildings.

While the best attractions at Garmisch-Parkenkirchen are outside of the city (mountain peaks and water falls), Ludwigstrasse is a must see. The bus system is wonderful as is the train system. You can go from Garmisch to Innsbrucke very quickly and the ride through small villages and scenic hills and valleys is great. I would also take the train to Mittenwald... More
