Obergammergauguri Museum is anot incredible place, with artworks made by the best woodcarving of Bavarian. This year they exhibited special pieces of wooden miniatures... soooo gorgeous!!!!!

The museum is nice and offered us something to do during a short stay in the city. We arrived near closing and thought the 45 minutes we spent was adequate.

There were lots of beautiful carvings here which we enjoyed seeing. There is also a very informative video which talks about Oberammergau and the Passion Play - it was very well done.

We entered this free museum while walking around the town after our theater tour. This museum is well worth seeing as you get to see many hand-made passion play exhibits, some costumes, wood carvings, toys, etc.

The museum is very informative. The display of the late rococo art is beautiful. Amazing wood carvings are seen all over this alpine village of Oberammergau. Baroque architecture is noticeable everywhere. Loved this beautiful town of Oberammergau.
