The hike can be a bit steep in some areas, but the views are worth it. The gorge was beautiful and the metal walkways allow you to see as much as possible. Tips: It was a bit colder in the gorge area so you might...More

I walked from Mittenwald but it's worth the walk - through a mountain valley with the river running beside it. When you get to the gorge there is an option to pay to go to see the waterfall but I chose to follow the blue...More

Drive to the end of the winding road to park. This was not clear to us and we parked closer to Mittenwald. There is a park place and one can do a round trip hike. It is easy and safe. great for children, stunning views.

Fantastic high level walkway along the gorge with 2 bridge crossings along the way. Free entry unless you wanted to pay the 3 Euros to walk the short leg up to a waterfall from the Mittenwald end. Useful and interesting tutorial boards along the way...More

An amazing walk along the metal walkways and bridges, relatively easy too. There were interesting facts along the way (I didn’t stop but families may enjoy it) and the experience was great. I personally wouldn’t bother again with the additional charge for the waterfall .....More

After a great meal at a nearby Gasthaus Römerschanz, we walked the path to Leutasch Gorge. A wooden walkway takes you into the Gorge and to the waterfall where you feel the power of the water cutting away the mountain. Worth the walk for sure.

Amazing walkway over a very beautiful river and gorge. We climbed to it up a fairly steep trail but loved that around each corner they had a stop describing how the area developed over the years so the climb was broken up.

We hiked along the Koboldfplad (blue trail) to the panorama and then hiked along the Klammgeistweg (red trail) on the north side of the gorge with the goal of reaching the Leutasch parking lot. Unfortunately, the elevated trail was closed approximately 100m following the second...More

There is a steep climb for the first 1km or so. Otherwise the trail is easy. I recommend 1-2 hours.
