You can’t see anything other than the box, and it’s behind a fence as this whole block is a construction zone. There is some nice shopping along this pedestrian zone from the train station so it was still worth the walk here.

Nothing to see really. I would expect more to find out about this great man, but it’s just a small monument without any additional info.

This is actually not a real memorial to the person Albert Einstein. It simply marks the exact location where the building once stood in which he was born.

Except the house was removed by RAF during a bombing raid. I think Einstein discovered gravity while playing with his rattle.... he left Ulm around his 2nd Birthday- Good meeting point away from the Railway station, and hand for McDonalds

Don't expect too much. Just small tribute - keep in mind that nothing but the birth bind Einstein to Ulm. Here was born in 1879, but the following year his family moved to Munich. Bavarian people like to make joke about it: "As soon as...More

On our way towards southern Germany we stopped off in Ulm for a break and to find this site. Was almost impossible to find and we gave up. The city of Ulm was probably beautiful at one point but for us seemed a bit scary...More
