A great theme park with facilities to help you ease stress and worries. It's the best place to be for the Beer festival though quite pricey. There are lots of games to play. There are gift shops around too. Folks are dressed in their native...More

Having been 3 times now, I prefer the Cannstatter Wasen over Oktoberfest in Munich. It's much less touristy and you can order drinks other than beer in the tents (incl. mixed drinks like Vodka Orange, wines etc). The one thing I seriously dislike about this...More

We've been to Munich for the big show and twice to Volksfest, and hands down we prefer venue in Stuttgart. Crowds during the week were still large but not offensive. Beer tents were largely full but seating was easy and the beer was great! Service...More

Lovely time, many litres of beer and dancing in tables. And catching up with family. Cannot grumble whatsoever

Fun, fun, and more fun! Beer - loads of it - good food, and party people, 4 f**** million if then in two weeks. Enjoy your time - and if planning- reserve your table early, on May at the latest.

Can't be missed!!! Much better than the one in Munich... a lot less touristy. Must try curry wurst, fish on a stick, rotisserie chicken and pork hocks, and especially the Swabian traditional foods such as maultachen and lentils!

Come enjoy a laid-back version of Munich's Oktoberfest, with great live music, fairground, fest tents and outstanding Schwabian beer. Great fun with friends or family or both. Not as rowdy as Munich, with the Stuttgart air of high society mixed with traditional South-German fun.

Everything that you would expect is available. On weekends, beer tent reservations highly recommended.

Every tent does at this festival. They all have bars which do, it's only if you're sitting at the tables where they have table service where they don't.
