I was here for the German Unity Day and it was quite fun. Ideal for families with children, who can run around and enjoy. As someone who was travelling solo, there wasn't much to do except just take in the beauty of the architecture.

This is Stuttgart's main shopping street, and because it is a pedestrian street, you can stroll along without fear of getting hit by a car. Many shops and restaurants line this beautiful street, interspersed with old buildings and monuments. It connects many of the city's...More

The Königstrasse is the city's main shopping street, closed to traffic and filled with stores of all types, from clothing to shoes, toys, etc. Most of the stores are part of larger chains which makes shopping easy. If you look for more exclusive brands, you...More

We walked from the mall parking to the square in light snow. Nighttime, no wind, beautiful. Lots of people strolling. Many open shop in the old buildings converted to modern storefronts. The monument and castle across the plaza give this place an old european feel.

Cute cobbled high street with all the familiar shops like Zara, Timberland, and Primark. Make sure you go to Breuninger dept store. The clothes are nothing special but the lingerie dept and osmetics are very good.

The Koenigstrasse is a place where you can go shopping and also find a good restaurant. There are a lot of people in the streets.

Sites, sounds and great eats all up and down the Strasse. A must if you have at least a day or two in Stuttgart. Too much to see and do in a day--take a couple days to explore.

This area of Stuttgart is a must especially on Christmas time. A lot of small shops, street food, people seeing and happenings to spend half a day. I recommend this for families and for all ages.
