We visited just before the holiday markets opened and found the street filled with a variety of restaurants and merchants with both local and international brands. It seemed to skew higher end, but we were able to find everything we were looking for and enjoyed our time there.

If you are into high end shopping and rubbing shoulders with the masses, this is the place to be seen. It was especially crowded as the throngs of revelers from the Christmas markets joined forces with those doing their holiday shopping to make for a shoulder to shoulder experience. Not my idea of fun so we returned to our hotel.

Great place to go shopping. Many stores and shopping malls to get in. Very crowdy so be aware of pick pockets! Christmas markt and whole xmas decoration were awesome!

You shouldn't miss Königstraße when in Stuttgart. This is an iconic shopping street with all the big brands in business. The street is pretty wide and designed for pedestrians. The street cuts along the Schlossplatz and the Königsbau Passagen. Whether it is window shopping or tasting german street food like Döner or Pommes, this place has got it all.

It is impossible not to visit Koenigstrasse when in Stuttgart. Just exit the main train station and cross the road and there you are in the middle of all the shops, bars, cafes and malls. You have over 1 km of all this !! Also, during the Christmas time, it is a must to visit with all the stalls.

This public outdoor green space is full of couples, families, and singles. It is a great area for enjoying a snack and a beer with friends, wandering the castle grounds, seeing historical landmarks, and just having a relaxing time. I wish I had more time to explore the area.
